Project: WorldWide Launch Celebration

On April 20, 2011, hundreds of clients, partners, media and employees from around the world gathered in the Allen Room of the Time Warner Center in NYC to attend the Project: WorldWide Launch Celebration.

It was a launch event intended to thank clients for their longstanding support and collaboration with Project’s various agencies, educate attendees on the power of engagement marketing and finally, to announce the opening of Project’s NYC office.
Attendees to the event came from around the globe, including brands from top technology, consumer packaged goods, retail, automotive, media, entertainment and diverse other industries. They joined experts from across the Project network, ranging from advertising and experiential to PR, digital and other disciplines. Industry media and Project’s partners were also in attendance.

Upon entering, attendees were greeted by a spectacular view of NYC overlooking Columbus Circle, followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, an inspiring presentation by Project Chairman-CEO, Robert G. Vallee Jr., and an energizing performance by the Grammy award-winning band Train.

To reflect the Project brand, the venue was transformed into a sophisticated atmosphere of modern black and white décor. Artwork from Andrei Petrov, a NYC-based painter, provided a backdrop to the bar areas. And two touchscreen plasmas provided an interactive opportunity for guests to learn more about the Project family of agencies and examples of our collaboration.

Beautiful imagery and highlights of Project agency work were displayed on six large-format LED screens overlooking Central Park as Project’s Chairman and CEO Robert. G. Vallee Jr. delivered a stirring welcome speech on the legacy of innovation that has made Project possible, as well as the increasingly vital role that engagement is playing in brand storytelling.
Vallee then introduced a special VIP performance by the Grammy Award-winning band Train, who delivered a high-energy and interactive show, with plenty of audience participation.

The event was a true demonstration of Project’s collaborative DNA: George P. Johnson led with the event management role and creative duties, Partners + Napier designed and produced the invitations, and Spinifex produced the LED and touchscreen content.

Most importantly, the event demonstrated the power behind engagement marketing for attendees in a creative, immersive and interactive manner.
