As a Digital Producer, you will be asked to own and manage all the connective dots that comprise in-person, virtual, and integrated events. You must think holistically, organize and manage deliverables from various technical aspects, and lead a diverse team of IT and non-IT professionals. You will work with teams that include live, broadcast, and video production, as well as various event tech partners and platform development teams. You will be instrumental in ensuring projects meet digital requirements and deadlines, working closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to execute on time, on strategy, and on budget. The Digital Producer will report to our Director of Digital Production.
Like most, we are working remotely from home right now. Ultimately, the position will require periodic travel to our offices and event locations.
Our digital production team is constantly innovating and pushing the role of digital and technology to create engaging experiences. What you will do.
In this role you will lead day-to-day communication and coordination between our internal account and production teams, ensuring digital projects are delivered on strategy, on time and within budget. You will manage third party virtual technology vendors/partners making sure the work is clearly defined, properly scoped and delivered on time. You will also be responsible for scoping new projects, including developing budgets, resourcing needs, identifying partners and building timelines.
- Collaborate with our Production, Creative, Strategy, and Account Management teams to create, lead and manage innovative and strategic digital programs, executions and content
- Contribute to the development of departmental project methodologies by applying best practices and lessons learned.
- Develop, scope, implement and manage project plans (including budgets); facilitate execution of digital projects cross-department— routing, file management and timeline management
- Communicate recommendations and status of the project to the clients
- Develop and maintain ongoing, trusted relationships with various vendors and third party virtual platform suppliers, including managing custom development builds.
- Lead communication of project status to teams and respective clients on a regular basis
- Stay up-to-date and current on new technologies and virtual platforms by constantly seeking out new trends in social, digital, and vendor capability in addition to new ways of working in order to share insight and learnings within the agency, and with our clients where relevant.
Who you are & what you will bring.
Experienced. You have 5+ years in an IT project management, digital production and/or digital project management role (preferably in an agency setting) with multiple years of proven success leading a digital project or program, including custom development builds. Your project management experience has you handling multiple clients and deliverables simultaneously. You have experience with online virtual platforms. Ideally you have experience in the technology sector as well. *Senior level position available for candidates with extensive experience.
Skilled. You have strong knowledge of digital program project management. Assist with QA/UAT processes and development of functional requirements for digital projects. Preferred familiarity with the following: project management and development software (JIRA ticketing and Smartsheet Project Management); and development process (SCRUM, agile methodology, sprint planning)

Flexibility and Adaptability: You are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done! You understand that you may be required to work irregular hours, nights, and weekends, etc. as dictated by client deliverables. Travel estimated 25%.
