LinkedIn Talent Connect offers HR professionals a distinct opportunity to collaborate with peers from a wide spectrum of talent roles including recruiters, HR leaders, culture champions, and talent developers. When our LinkedIn clients approached us to produce Talent Connect 2019 in Dallas, TX, our Special Events team worked their magic. The result: a vibrant and resonant atmosphere the 4,200+ global talent leaders wouldn’t soon forget.
Uniting so many passionate professionals around hot button issues like diversity and inclusion is tricky to get right, so all the details needed support that. Our team took over Gilley’s Dallas, transforming the surrounding space into a Beer Garden and created 4 additional thematic rooms filled with photo ops, activations, and nostalgic moments that all tied back to the culture and the overarching conference theme of “Better Together.” We ended the night with an epic dance party.
In a nod to the spirit of Texas, closing out LinkedIn Talent Connect was “Dallas Roundup”, an exclusive appreciation party for attendees complete with country music, line dancing and more local flavor. Every vendor brought in to help this event was a Dallas local, from the muralist and food trucks, to the jaw-dropping steamer installation that took over the parking lot. In the end, our team supported the local economy by hiring 80% of Dallas/Texas-based vendors.
Based on the overwhelming crowd reactions and client feedback, our special events team delivered something truly special and purely fun.
