The LiveForLife coalition was created by a small handful of events agencies, companies who are normally competitors, but who saw a growing need for temporary structures, PPE, and testing centers to fight COVID-19, and wanted to combine their expertise for the common good. As designers, fabricators, project managers and logistics experts, our industry and agencies are uniquely qualified to step in and help. In fact, coalition partners have already provided assistance to the Jacob Javits Center in New York and the Santa Clara Convention Center.

In recent weeks, the core team has created a new website, made progress on new partnerships, are continually adding new coalition members (now nearing 200) and received some good press. We’ve provided a social media toolkit to all partners, and are encouraging our staff and clients to share our social posts. An oversight team continues to meet daily to ensure that lines of communication are open and that we’re as efficient as possible.

And we’re not just waiting to see what inquiries come in via the website. We have several lines of communication going with federal agencies, local governments, the National Governors Association, assorted hospital systems and more. While the need for temporary patient rooms and the services associated with them is lighter than forecast for the moment (thankfully so), we stand ready to provide help if that changes. We’re also suggesting broader recovery solutions (testing and vaccine facilities) that would utilize the services of coalition members across the country.

Finally, we have a growing number of volunteers across the country, with a wide range of expertise, and the number is growing every day.

We appreciate you and look forward to a time when we can meet face to face!
