At GPJ, Integrated Production is the unseen engine that brings brand experiences to life—but within that engine are high-performance gears, such as the Special Experiences team, where large-scale moments are meticulously crafted with equal parts logistics, creativity, and heart. It’s a team built for complexity, scale, and making memories. One team member who contributes to the magic is Aimee Forster.

Crafting the Big Moments

Aimee is a Senior Producer on the Special Experiences team. Aimee is a Senior Producer on the Special Experiences team, where she specializes in the orchestration of bespoke, large-scale, multi-layered corporate programs. Often managing events for 3,000+ attendees, she owns the highly curated, highly visible moments—from intimate executive dinners to headline-worthy closing parties—that transform a standard conference into a next-level experience.

Or, as Aimee puts it when she’s off
the clock:

“I usually say I’m an event producer for big corporate events…and we do the fun stuff:
the dinners, the receptions, the parties.”

Aimee’s path into the world of experiential production didn’t start in logistics or planning, but in graphics production. Before joining GPJ, she spent nine years at a previous agency, evolving from graphics into full-scale event production. Over time, she found herself gravitating toward the special experiences—those moments that punctuate a corporate event with emotional, memorable impact.

“I’ve been with the Special Experiences team since I started at GPJ,” she says.
“This is my sweet spot.”

The Right Place, The
Right Work

Aimee joined GPJ at the tail end of the pandemic, right as the world was learning to gather again. Her first projects were Workday campus events, welcoming employees back to the office with outdoor activations, lunches, and giveaways. But it wasn’t until Cisco Live 2022 that the scope of what she was doing truly hit.

“It was the first time I got to see the full team in action… flipping bare rooms into really cool spaces. It was just so validating. I felt like I was definitely doing the right work, and I was in the right place.”

Though Special Experiences is its own, stand-alone department, Aimee’s team operates in sync with teams across the agency. Integrated Production, Strategy, Creative, and Live Production are just a few of the groups with which she
collaborates daily.

“We’re collaborating all the time,” Aimee explains.

Even when their part of the activation comes later in the run of show, the Special Experiences team is in every meeting, listening closely. It all overlaps and integrates, whether the broader team is discussing security, transportation, or registration.

Turning the Impossible Into the Unforgettable

Aimee doesn’t just lead large teams—she leads through complexity. One of her most memorable projects? Google Cloud NEXT.

With the grandiose Sphere in Las Vegas as their backdrop, Aimee’s team pulled off an executive-level event for 10,000 attendees packed into a 45-minute window.

“We had a TON of communication,” she says. “We were meeting almost every day. We tapped the IP team. GPJ leadership came in to support. Everyone stepped in. It just showed that we do this really well—[and] we do this all the time.”

That kind of performance doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from a culture of collaboration, quick thinking, and constant learning.

“We’re sharpening our tools,” she notes. “Every event teaches us something new.”

The Special Experiences team is known for managing moving parts, tapping multiple departments, and juggling creative, logistics, and technical needs all at once. Aimee expresses just how incredible the team is because of how seamlessly they work together.

“The team I work with is so great. We all really help each other.” She says. “No matter who you are, everyone on the team takes on the work as if it’s their own project they’ve been
working on all year long.”

While Aimee enjoys working independently from time to time, she always knows she can rely on her team as a collective knowledge base. It’s this jack of all trades ability that makes her team so essential—not just to GPJ’s IP practice, but to the success of every experience they touch.

It’s people like Aimee who turn the “fun stuff” into the foundational stuff. By bridging complexity with collaboration, and doing it all with a sense of purpose, Aimee shows exactly how Integrated Production and Special Experiences make magic
happen—together.
