Our Opportunity

GPJ is hiring an Electrician to join our growing team.

This role is on-site, requiring you to report to our Las Vegas office location a minimum of 5 days per week.

Your Role

In this role the Electrician is  responsible for various tasks related to electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role will also handle electrical components for industrial machinery as well as low voltage lighting systems.

Expertise will come into play when diagnosing and repairing electrical wiring issues in a range of settings, including exhibits and commercial buildings. This may involve working on outlets, lighting systems, servers, and electronic equipment connections. Proficiency in LED lighting and low voltage systems is essential, with a particular emphasis on programming and wire management.

Your Skills

  • Install and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and exhibits.
  • Install conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
  • Ensure piping complies with electrical codes when applicable
  • Installs circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring to them following electrical code.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to prevent downtime
  • Competency in low voltage LED system design and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of low voltage LED illumination and control
  • Proficient in soldering
  • Create records of materials used 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Preferred knowledge of industrial and facility maintenance.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and valid electricians license required or ability to become licensed with our assistance

Your Experience

Experience & Education

  • 2+ years of professional knowledge and extensive knowledge of different electrical networks.
  • Formal training and current electrical license preferred.

Travel & Mobility

  • Estimated travel for this position is less than 10%
